Tracking of High-risk Mothers

The situation has worsened in many families that have witnessed primary breadwinners succumbing to the Pandemic, higher prices of essential services and all of this has resulted in an adverse change in the socio-economic fabric of Communities towards generating sustained periods of employment which is a vital support system for vulnerable families. With the support of RBEI/CSR implementing Projects to rebuild sustainable Livelihoods under the Proactive Covid Response.

Tele Health

As the COVID pandemic continued to spread rapidly and overwhelm health systems around the world, a Tele-Health initiative was started in Ekam from the month of May…

with an aim of supporting the community and guiding them with regards to COVID-related queries

A helpline was established with a nursing coordinator and networking was made with many medical service providers like Chennai Covid Warriors, WINCARS etc. Nearly 31 calls were received and 96 calls were made to connect the patient with the service provider and to follow them up on the services that were delivered to them. The queries included requisition for beds, oxygen concentrators, medicines availability, and medical consultations with speciality doctors. Among them 4 people required psychosocial support and they were connected to a counsellor. All the clients were followed up and their well-being was ensured.
